The next few weeks are critical. Congress now has a narrow window to replace an overly broad federal ban with clear, workable regulation that protects consumers, prevents youth access, supports American farmers and small businesses, and preserves access to lawful hemp products.

• Age labeling and age-verification requirements for hemp-derived consumable products

• Product-safety and cannabinoid oversight

• Restrictions on synthetic and artificially modified cannabinoids

• Domestic sourcing requirements

• Interstate commerce protections for compliant hemp products

• Continued authority for states, territories, and Tribes to adopt stricter rules
